Pillar 01 · Education
Understanding comes before access
Give communities the financial, blockchain, and digital skills they need to use digital financial services with real confidence - before they're ever handed a specific tool or workflow.
Curriculum
Four modules, in order
Financial literacy
Budgeting, saving, risk management, and the difference between helpful tools and risky shortcuts.
Delivered before: Any digital financial workflow
Web3 & blockchain fundamentals
Plain-language explanations of wallets, onchain records, transaction basics, and digital trust.
Delivered before: Wallet setup
Wallet safety & digital security
Seed phrases, scam awareness, account recovery, and safe use of supported wallets such as Valora, MiniPay, or WalletConnect-compatible options where applicable.
Delivered before: Any live transaction
Practical Celo education
How the Celo ecosystem fits into digital payments, community services, and responsible everyday access.
Delivered before: Operational participation
Delivery
Written, visual, and in person
Material combines written guides, visual diagrams, and in-person community sessions - deliberately not confined to a single digital channel, since not every participant has reliable connectivity at the point they need the material most.
Measuring effectiveness
What we track
- Number of people who complete at least one training module
- Pass rate on a basic knowledge assessment
- Structured community feedback collected after each session
Education leads into the agent network
Once someone completes core training, the next step is understanding how community agents put that knowledge to work.
